Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan and emergency response activity
The Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP) is a mandatory MARPOL requirement for oil tankers over 150 GT and ships over 400 GT, providing structured, authorized procedures to prevent or mitigate oil spills. It includes action plans, reporting procedures to coastal states, and, for chemical carriers, is often combined into a Shipboard Marine Pollution Emergency Plan (SMPEP). If you need this, we can provide for it.
Garbage Management Plan as requested by Marpol Annex V
A Garbage Management Plan (GMP) under MARPOL Annex V is required for all ships
100 GT, or certified to carry 15+ people, ensuring compliant waste handling. It mandates procedures for minimizing, collecting, storing, processing, and disposing of waste, with a designated officer in charge, and must be in the working language. Inquire us to obtain your tailored quote.
Ozone Depleting Substances record Book as requested by Marpol Annex VI
All ships, including drill rigs and platforms, of 400 GT and above, with rechargeable systems (refrigeration, AC, fire-fighting), are required to have the ODS Record Book. Each entry must include the date, position of the ship, ODS name (e.g., R-22, Halon 1301), amount in kg, and equipment identifier. It can be a physical log book or an approved electronic record book. At Mansueto, this is something we can definitely provide for. Inquire us to know more.
